The San Diego Del Norte Chapter of the National Charity League hosted a Father-Daughter Waltz Dance on March 22 at the Fairbanks Ranch Clubhouse for their class of 2009. The traditional Father-Daughter Waltz dance provides the fathers with an opportunity to have a dance lesson with their daughters as a prelude to the girls being presented. The Senior Presentation is the celebration of completing NCL’s six-year program, encouraging charitable endeavors and promoting mother-daughter relationships in philanthropic, educational and cultural training. Daughters are called Ticktockers and mothers are called Patronesses.
Their lesson included instruction from Dave Tomko of North County Dance and was followed by dinner hosted by the Michael Conger family in their Fairbanks Ranch home.
Being presented are: Jessica Brodeen, Kate Cutting, Elizabeth Donahoe, Camille Gillett, Haley Glatthorn, Emily Hake, Carolyn Hillgren, Taylor Johnson, Kendra Keenan, Lauren Livingston, Brooke Marinovich, Elizabeth Mauerman, Kristin Miller, Kate Noble, Skyler Okey, Lauren Provenzano, Marjorie Roesser, Madeline Rohde, Kaylynn Sheets, Mary Beth Shrader and Shelby Sims.
The senior class of 2009 Ticktockers are graduating seniors from Santa Fe Christian, Torrey Pines High School, The Bishop’s School, Cathedral Catholic High School, La Costa Canyon High School, San Dieguito Academy, Orange County Performing Arts School, Canyon Crest Academy and Francis Parker. They will be presented on April 11 at the Four Seasons Aviara Resort and Hotel in Carlsbad.
