La Jolla’s Steak and Seafood Restaurant will offer a special Mother’s Day buffet.
Appetizers include Slow Roasted Vine Ripened Tomato Salad, Sweet Corn Shrimp Curry Bisque and Golden Beet and Fingerling Potato Salad.
Entrees include Cajun Mustard Crusted Angus Prime Rib and Forest Wild Mushroom Quiche and are accompanied by assorted side dishes including Baked Sour Cream and Green Onion Yukon Gold Mash and Filed Spring Vegetables Tossed with Cumin Oil.
Executive chef Bernard Guillas and chef de cuisine Augie Saucedo have taken great care to select delicious desserts to end the meal including Black Pomegranate Cheesecake, Snickers Bar Bread Pudding and Caramelized Pineapple Upside Down Cake (copy of full menu follows).
Buffet priced at $46 for adults, $23 for children 12 and under and $3 per year for children under the age of six. Prices do not include tax, gratuity, or beverages.
The Mother’s Day buffet is available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 11.
