MoPA celebrates Commission for Arts and Culture anniversary
The Museum of Photographic Arts celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Commission for Arts and Culture last Friday. The festivities began in the atrium with a VIP reception that included remarks by Mayor Jerry Sanders, MoPA board president Gail Bryan, Commission for Arts and Culture chair Colette Carson-Royston and others. Following the reception, museum members and guests previewed MoPA’s newest exhibitions including “Nancy Newhall: A Literacy of Images.”
