Missing La Jolla dog found

Daisy, a 3-year-old poodle and Shih Tzu mix, was found on May 5. A woman living near the La Jolla-Pacific Beach border found the canine and, after seeing a ‘Missing Dog’ poster, was able to reunite Daisy with her owner, Sandra Peters of La Jolla. Peters posted approximately 80 posters throughout La Jolla and the surrounding areas.

She also ran an ad in the La Jolla Light, offering a $5,000 reward to the person who found Daisy. “Thank you to the citizens of La Jolla for helping in Daisy’s rescue,” Peters said. “It is so meaningful.”
