Starting Friday, there will be increased flight activity at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar while the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing trains for an upcoming deployment, base officials said.
The change in flight hours is scheduled to last through Sunday, according to MCAS Miramar’s public affairs office.
Flight hours are scheduled to last until 11 p.m. Friday instead of the usual 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday, when the flight line is usually closed, it is scheduled to be open from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday’s flight hours are scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. instead of the usual 2 p.m. and conclude at 10 p.m. instead of the usual 6 p.m.
