Low pressure system due in area
Strong winds will develop today in the mountains and deserts of San Diego County, forecasters said.
A low pressure system will move through California today and Wednesday, producing strong westerly winds of between 25 and 35 miles per hour in the mountains and deserts, according to the National Weather Service.
The agency issued a wind advisory for the affected areas, effective from 1 p.m. today through 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Wind gusts could exceed 50 mph, the Weather Service reported.
