Boy Scouts from Troop 4 La Jolla recently renovated the landscape around the entrance of the Woman’s Club in Pacific Beach at 1721 Hornblend St. The demolition and construction effort was planned, organized and executed by Joe Farah for his Eagle Scout project. Farah, 16, and a student at The Bishop’s School, oversaw a team of 12 scouts and three parent helpers who replaced aging bricks with flowers and shrubs on Nov. 22.

Troop 4 La Jolla is sponsored by La Jolla Presbyterian Church and La Jolla Kiwanis Club.
