Library lectures at Athenaeum

Art historian James Grebl, Ph. D., will present a series of four lectures exploring the greatest libraries of the Western world at the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, 1008 Wall Street in La Jolla. The lectures run 7:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 21, Grebl will discuss Monastic and Ecclesiastic Libraries; Oct. 28 Historic University Libraries; Nov. 4 National Libraries; and Nov. 11 Private Libraries.
