The Riford Center has helped me with losing 50 pounds and improving my health greatly for my heart. I feel 20 years younger.
The wonderful friends I have made mean so much in retirement. Besides the great free low-impact aerobics classes daily at 8:30 a.m. by Martha Raby-Sturmer through the community college, I would also like to highly recommend her free chair exercise classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m. She has made strength exercises with weights, increasing flexibility with colored scarves, improving reflexes with foam balls, resistance training with stretch bands, balance exercises, and group reflex exercises with weighted balls and group velvet bands fun. This wonderful resource deserves the community’s support to stay open.
