La Jolla’s Wells Fargo bank robbed

A man who used a demand note robbed Wells Fargo Bank at 7714 Girard Ave. at about 11:15 a.m. Saturday morning, police reported.

An alert on Nixle.com, a notification service being used by San Diego Police and the sheriffs department reported the man left “with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was seen and nobody was injured.

“The suspect was a white male about 20 to 25 years old, 5’ 10” tall, blond hair, clean shaven, and wearing a light blue button down plaid shirt, and blue jeans.
