La Jollans ring in 2010 at the beach and Mount Soledad

New Year’s Eve and New Year’s morning drew all kinds of beach lovers — and just plain lovers — to La Jolla Shores, where a full moon pushed tides to the extremes, and moonwatchers to Mount Soledad. From people walking along enjoying a spectacular sunset, to those who braved the chilly waters to surf or join La Jolla Cove Swim Club’s Polar Bear Plunge, all found their own ways to kick off 2010.
