La Jolla Y to receive $7.5 million gift

The La Jolla YMCA announced it is the recipient of a planned gift of approximately $7.5 million from the Ruth and Tom Shepherd Trust. La Jolla

Y Executive Director Sam Wurtzbacher said, “We are so grateful to the Shepherds for their generosity. We count on our community donors to keep our doors open to whoever needs a place to help them be more healthy, confident, connected and secure.”
