La Jolla Elementary students get an eyeful of information
La Jolla Elementary School’s kindergarten students studying the five senses learned some details about eyes recently from Dr. Angela Nahl of La Jolla Lasik Institute.
The presentation included a diagram of the parts of the eyes — and a special treat —eyeball cupcakes. Dr. Nahl’s daughter is a student in Allison Carpenter’s class at La Jolla Elementary.
