La Jolla Christian Fellowship recently held its first vacation Bible school. Fifty children aged 5 to 11 joined in with 20 teen and adult volunteers helping out.

The theme was “Wildwood Forest,” where the children discovered the ‘untamed nature of God’ while rotating through classes in science, crafts, scripture memory, physical games and, of course, snacks. Clay Ford is the pastor of the church at 627 Genter St.
