By Jennifer Bock

A free workshop to assist jobseekers in finding will be held Nov. 15 at La Jolla Presbyterian Church.

Sponsored by The Boardroom San Diego, Jewish Family Service and La Jolla Presbyterian Church, the event will provide information on resume development, interviewing skills and professional image. “Career Vision 2011 — Navigating a Changing Work World,” will feature guest speaker Jamie Beck, M.S., a career coach and career education speaker.

Grace Decker, director and founder of The Boardroom San Diego, said she saw the success of a similar workshop she organized last spring which drew 120 attendees. Decker decided to organize a second workshop, this time featuring Beck.

“I had heard about Jamie’s unique perspective on career transitions and thought that people looking for jobs could be inspired with new, fresh ideas,” said Decker.
