Join Saturday’s cleanup in La Jolla’s downtown

The Nell Carpenter Beautification/Streetscape Committee of the La Jolla Town Council is hosting another of its community trash clean-up days from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday on Prospect Street from Ivanhoe Avenue going south and north.

The sign-in table will be on Ivanhoe east of Prospect.

Gloves, pickers, trash bags and other tools will be provided to sweep the sidewalks and gutters and pick up trash and litter.

Snacks and refreshments will be served to volunteers. There will also be a surprise lunch for those who stay.
