Hailing from Arkansas, attorney Bradley K. Jackson brings a unique blend of experience and education in the field of law to the Jewel.

Jackson, whose office is at 7922 Herschel Ave, Suite 410, has legal experience with the Arkansas Department of Education, Attorney’s Office, and as general counsel for D&H Construction. He runs a private practice and is licensed with the state boards of both California and Arkansas covering areas as diverse as education, construction and corporate law.

“I do some estate planning,” said Jackson. “I also do employment-based immigration law, for example when a business wants to hire someone, say a graduating foreign student, who’s not a citizen and doesn’t have the correct visa but wants to work in the U.S.”

Jackson is proud of his master of laws in international law he received from the University of San Diego School of Law, cum laude, in 2008.

“I have spent significant time studying and writing about international legal issues both in the United States and England,” he said, noting his interests include European Union Law, international business transactions, international environmental law and human rights law.

“I have a real passion for international law,” he said.

The new La Jolla attorney said he never wanted to live and work anywhere but here.

“I love the area,” he said. “It’s where I wanted to work and live, where I was happy.”

Jackson said his ideal client is someone who needs help with estate planning, trust work, business or corporate contract work, import-export issues or with anything dealing with the immigration service.

Of his business philosophy, Jackson said, “I’m always open to new challenges and try to help people accomplish their goals any way I can.”
