Is signage being too advertising-oriented and commercial in La Jolla?

“I have a lot of trouble with visual pollution. I believe they (signs) should be more generic, not like Starbucks. There are a bunch of smaller, cafe places that have really good coffee. We should promote them. Already they don’t make as much money as Starbucks.”
