Historical Society celebrates Ellen Browning Scripps’ birthday

The La Jolla Historical Society held its annual luncheon at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club last Saturday to celebrate the birthday of Ellen Browning Scripps. Logan Jenkins, a La Jolla resident and columnist at The San Diego Union-Tribune, was the guest speaker at the event. Jenkins, former editor of the La Jolla Light, shared his perspectives on life in La Jolla.
