High surf advisory
The National Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory for all San Diego area beaches.
The surf could reach between 8 to 10 feet today. The water temperature is between 56 and 59 degrees. Rip current potential is also extremely high and swimmers are urged to use caution at all times.
The outlook for Tuesday is more of the same. Surf will be from 4 to 7 feet with a high rip current risk.
