‘Hands’ say no to oil drilling

Beach lovers across the country joined hands at noon on Saturday for 15 minutes to say no to offshore oil drilling. The ‘Hands Across the Sand’ movement is meant to protect the coastal economies and encourage clean energy. About 200 participants rejoiced after spending their Saturday morning joining hands across La Jolla Shores. Groups also gathered at WindanSea Beach and Torrey Pines State Beach.
