Halloween includes pumpkin drop; fair

The Halloween spirit was lively and felt around La Jolla this Halloween. A couple of activities to bring the spirit alive included the 33rd Annual Pumpkin Drop at UCSD and All Hallows Academy’s Halloween fair.

Dow Jones (the pumpkin) weighed 650 lbs. and was dropped at 12:30 from the 11th floor of a dorm. Following the drop, an assortment of candy was thrown and student rushed to get the sweets.
