Government offices and courts closed for Labor Day
Courts and San Diego city, county and state administrative offices will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day.
Libraries and recreation centers will also be closed, but San Diego municipal pools and skate parks will be open. Torrey Pines, Balboa Park and Mission Bay golf courses will also be open, but holiday rates will apply.
Balboa Park will be open, but public buildings will be closed. Museums that operate on Mondays will be open.
There will be no San Diego City Council meeting.
All county parks will remain open, but the Department of Parks and Recreation reservations desk will be closed as well as all teen and community centers. County libraries will also be closed Monday.
There will be no mail delivery Monday.
Garbage pickups in the city of San Diego will be delayed one day throughout the week following the Labor Day holiday. Garbage and recycling collection will return to the normal schedule on Sept. 14.
