Fundraiser gifts books to cancer patients

On Sept. 17, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs hosted a cocktail fundraiser for the Light One Little Candle Foundation at UCSD Moores Cancer Center. Light One Little Candle supports the gifting of books to cancer patients at Moores.

Several La Jollans were in attendance. Shirley Tulin, a retired social worker who spearheaded Light One Little Candle, greeted the guests who brought books and enjoyed appetizers.
