Katie Harmeyer and JD Neri each had six points, but it wasn’t enough to keep up with Mira Mesa. The loss dropped La Jolla’s record to 6-10 overall.
Aubrey Sloan led the team with seven rebounds, and Anna Osypka paced the defense with three blocked shots.

JD Neri knocked down a 15-foot jump shot with 50 seconds on the clock to give La Jolla (6-9, 3-2) the victory. The Vikings used an aggressive defense, grabbing 29 steals, to overcome a 15-10 halftime deficit.
Neri led the way with 10 points, 11 rebounds and six steals. Katie Harmeyer had six points and three assists. Wendy Nettleton also had six points and four rebounds. Aubrey Sloan was very active on defense, collecting eight steals and grabbing four rebounds.
