Fourth of July Fireworks over the Cove thrill La Jollans and company

Despite the cloudy day and chilly temperatures, the crowds visiting La Jolla Cove and La Jolla Shores on the Fourth of July were treated to a 20-minute light and sound show that began at 9 p.m. The view from Mount Soledad wasn’t too shabby, either!
