The Bishop’s School completed its regular season with an undefeated record and in return secured the No. 1 seed for the Division V CIF playoffs.

The Knights, which defeated Christian last weekend 56-44, get a bye this week and will take on the Army-Navy Academy (4-6) vs. Holtville (6-4) winner Nov. 26.

The Knights have to like their chances as the No. 2 seed at the bottom of the bracket is Horizon (6-3), a team Bishop’s beat earlier this season, 56-21. The other top seeds in Division V are No. 3 Francis Parker (4-6) and No. 4 Christian (5-5).

La Jolla Country Day, which ended its season with a 7-3 record, including a win last weekend against Army-Navy, 35-18, got the No. 6 seed and will play Calipatria on Friday at LJCDS. The Torreys already beat the Hornets 28-14 back on Oct. 22.

La Jolla High makes CIF

Despite a two-win season, La Jolla High made the Division IV playoffs. The Knights (2-8, 2-3 Western League) lost its regular-season finale last weekend against Madison, 32-14.

The Vikings will play at Brawley (8-2) on Friday night at 7 p.m.
