First-graders celebrate Publishing Party

Bird Rock Elementary School first-graders in Sandy Sibley’s class recently celebrated their Publishing Party. Parents lined up to read each student’s report about various pets they had seen on a field trip to Petco last month. The reports included research and tips about what the students need to buy to take care of a pet. The last picture includes the group of boys (on the Petco field trip) who chose to write about snakes as pets.
