Fire injures 1, damages LJ House
One person was hospitalized with smoke inhalation after a fire caused substantial damage to a La Jolla house early Sunday, a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department official said.
The flames broke out around 2:30 a.m. at 2181 Harbour Heights Court, and damaged both floors of the home, said Maurice Luque of the SDFRD.
The injured person and two other adults will not be able to live in the house because of the fire, Luque said.
He said the initial estimate of damage is $350,000, and the cause
remains under investigation.
