The 22nd Annual La Jolla Festival of the Arts Presented by Hyundai Genesis will present 190 nationally accredited artists with hundreds of unique artworks ranging from oil painting to fine jewelry.

The Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the University of California San Diego’s East Campus.

It also offers a “restaurant row” where patrons can taste some of the finest foods in all of San Diego County. Renowned chocolatier Clay Gordon will be demonstrating the fine art of chocolate and holding a chocolate tasting. Enjoy live, weekend-long entertainment featuring the Mar Dels and Eve Selis.

For the family, there will be an interactive kid’s zone with a Super Jump, as well as an arts and crafts area.

New to the Festival this year will be an author book signing presented by Warwick’s, chalk art and an exotic car display, as well as an environmental fair.

The La Jolla Festival of the Arts is ranked as one of the top art festivals in the nation, and since 1983, the Torrey Pines Kiwanis Foundation has used proceeds from the Festival to donate more than $1,500,000 to programs for San Diegans with physical and mental disabilities.

Some of these programs include adaptive ski and water sports programs, wheelchair tennis and road racing programs, injured soldiers program and more.

Admission is $10 for adults. Children 12 and under are free. Free parking. Trained service dogs only. For more information, please visit the Web site at
