Rules:

• Jack-O-Lanterns must be hand carved.
• Contest is open to all ages.
• Only La Jolla residents or businesses are eligible to enter the contest.
• Submissions must include name, address, daytime phone number and ONE high-resolution photo of a Jack-O-Lantern.
• All contest entries must be submitted by 3 p.m. Oct. 20.
• Online voting on www.lajollalight.com will close at noon Oct. 24.
• The winner of the contest will be contacted by phone.
• The winner will be announced in the Oct. 30 edition of the Light.
