Eight seniors lead Bishop’s girls lacrosse team

Girls lacrosse
The Knights are led this season by eight seniors — Camilla Johnston, Hillary Halter, Sophia Muller, Natalie Alvarez, Paige Garett, Kathryn Macleod, Megan Murray and Liza Raser — all of whom are team captains.
The team is back in action today (3:30 p.m.) with a home game against Monte Vista.
Softball
After having last week off, the Knight are back in action this week with games against La Jolla High, Mores and Escondido Charter. On the season, the Knights are 4-3.Baseball
The Knights are currently 7-3-1 on the season, winning two of the team’s three games in the Lions Tournament. Up next for the Knights is an away game Thursday vs. Army-Navy.Boys lacrosse
Bishop’s boys lacrosse team has produced a 2-2 record this season, including wins over La Jolla High and Cathedral. The Knights next home game is Friday against Marin (Kentfield) Catholic.- La Jolla High

The Vikings (3-6-1 as of April 5) also participated in the Lions Tournament, winning two of their three games including wins against Central (El Centro) and Nevada Union (Grass Valley). Both wins were by one run.Boys lacrosse
Led by Michael Soumekh’s 11 goals, the Vikings are 2-3 on the season, including a win against Granite Hills in the team’s last outing. Up next is an away game at Grossmont on Friday.Boys volleyball
