Economic stimulus funds meeting set

Councilmember Sherri Lightner announced Monday that the City of San Diego will be holding a community forum on Tuesday, May 12 to discuss a $12 million block grant they are seeking from the U.S. Department of Energy for Energy Efficiency and Conservation.

At the forum, Lightner and members of the Mayor’s staff will seek community input for shovel-ready projects on which portions of the grant funding could be spent.
