Earthquakes shake county

At least two earthquakes struck today in the San Diego area, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A magnitude 3.8 earthquake struck just before 2:30 p.m. seven miles east

of Ocotillo, along the Imperial County line.

At 5:11 p.m., a magnitude 4.0 temblor struck 97 miles east of Tijuana. A magnitude 3.8 earthquake rattled the far eastern portion of San Diego County Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Two other quakes were felt in the area soon after midnight Saturday, the

largest registering 3.9 about 19 miles south-southwest of Guadalupe Victoria, Baja California, near the epicenter of the huge 7.2 Easter Sunday temblor that rolled most of Southern California.
