Driver hits parked cars near La Jolla High

La Jolla resident Ray Schumacher shot this photo Thursday afternoon in the 800 block of Rushville Street near La Jolla High School. He wrote in an e-mail to the Light that “a white Cadillac driven by a Hispanic male spun out of control and crashed into two parked cars, which hit a third, while students were all around leaving school. The female passenger jumped out and ran down Fern Glen, pursued by a blond haired girl yelling ‘you have to stop,’ and then by a man on a mountain bike. The driver fled the scene in the Cadillac. No injuries were apparent.”
