Donna Marsh boutique closing

La Jolla fashion design boutique Donna Marsh announced Monday that it will close its store at 7712 Fay Ave. following a liquidation sale that starts Wednesday.

The store, owned by Donna and Mark Steinback, opened in December 2007.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to establish ourselves in the La Jolla community,” said Donna Steinback. “However due to unforeseen circumstances our store did not reach the success that we have previously experienced and we are saddened to announce our closing.”

The couple stated in a press release that they plan to stay in San Diego and will pursue other business ventures.
