DeMaio to speak

San Diego Councilman Carl DeMaio will speak when the La Jolla Republican Women meet on Jan. 21 at the La Jolla Country Club.

Social hour begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at noon.

DeMaio will talk about his platform that included balancing the budget, reforming the pension system, fixing crumbling infrastructure, and restoring ethics and accountability to every level of city government, she added.
