CUPS plans grand opening

CUPS, the new organic cupcake shop at 7857 Girard Ave., will celebrate its grand opening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 30.

The shop also does catering, special events and offers coffee and tea and specialty drinks in an environment that is reminiscent of an old-fashioned — but up-to-date — soda shop but with a contemporary, loungelike feel. It also offers WiFi connections.

The party will feature music by DJ “C Spinning Sweet Beats” and a premiere of special Valentine’s Day treats.
