Country Day out of CIF after 61-54 loss in regional matchup

La Jolla Country Day’s girls basketball team is out of the CIF Southern California championships after a semifinal loss on Saturday.

The Torreys fought a tough Bishop Montgomery team throughout the night, but came up on the short side of a 61-54 score. Ariana Elegado led Country Day with 15 points.
