Coggan Pool hosts Splash Bash
Families from all over are invited to take part in the annual Splash Bash celebration from noon to 4 p.m. at the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex at the corner of Nautilus and Fay, located at 800 Nautilus St. in La Jolla.
Activities for all ages such as inner tube water polo, inflatables, open swim, all you can eat food including hot dogs, hamburgers, tacos, and ice cream and live music.
Families also will have the opportunity to support the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex by ordering their commemorative tile for the pool’s decorative tile wall and help us raise funds. Samples and order forms will be available at Splash Bash.
“The commemorative tiles will remain on the wall forever and are a great tribute to our aquatic complex and the families who have supported it over the years,” said Randy Franke, director of the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex. “We sold these tiles when we celebrated our grand opening a few years ago and families have been asking for us to bring this tile fundraiser back so they can take part. Now’s there’s chance!”
Those who miss Splash Bash can order a commemorative tile by contacting DeDe Loomis
