Coastal Bay Girls Softball League finishes regular season play

Coastal Bay Girls Softball League just completed its last regular tournament of their All-Stars season at the Tournament Del Sol June 25-27. Next up is the ASA Districts tournament over the Fourth of July weekend for San Diego girls fastpitch softball. Heading into districts, Coastal Bay’s highest hopes are riding on their 8U-Gold team, which has had the most success of any Coastal Bay team this season. The team is led by the strong pitching of Kyra Ferenczy and balanced by the rock-solid catching by Cassidy Wechter. The 8U-Gold team has advanced in bracket play in both of the last two tournaments.
