Clarifying proposed skate park location

From the letters and calls I have received, it is clear the first location I suggested for a skateboard park was not understood. The location is the corner of Fay Ave and West Muirlands Drive. The city owns the southeast corner of this intersection and has declared it “ surplus property.”

To see the lot, drive along Fay Avenue and look east. The lot is vacant and is larger than it first appears. This site is an ideal location for public use. This site has nothing to do with the bike path.
