City reminds residents to adjust irrigation times

City water officials remind residents that Nov. 1 is the day that the city’s water irrigation times change.

Now through May 31, residents can water their landscape as early as 4 p.m instead of 6 p.m., according to a release. It also noted “that days are shorter, so the water lost to evaporation decreases.”

The release also noted that it’s also a good time to cut back on how much water is used for irrigation.
