City releases kayak proposal
The city of has released its request for proposals for kayak operators at La Jolla Shores, which they must submit if they are interested in obtaining a time slot for launching on summer weekends.
They must detail their operational expertise and other criteria to enable the city to select operators in its planned lottery-like drawing for launching times in Summer 2009.
