City planning water shutdown this Saturday for parts of La Jolla’s village area
The Public Utilities Department has scheduled a water project Saturday, June 12 which will shut down water for several hours in several sections of the Village of La Jolla.
The Water System Upgrade City Contract 541 will cause a water outage from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. on this Saturday on the following blocks: 7700 Ivanhoe Ave., 7700-7800 Herschel Ave., 7700-7800 Girard Ave. and 900-1100 Silverado St.
Three-day advance notice was given to customers affected by the shutdown.
