Children become surf students for a week

Little Warriors Surf Camp, held at La Jolla Shores last week, gave children of wounded and fallen service members a chance to learn how to surf. Sponsored by Freedom Is Not Free, the event included lessons by Surf Diva instructors. After the weeklong camp, each child received his or her own surfboard. Surf Diva also hosted a fundraiser the night before the camp started.
