Century Club has new HQ

Share

The Century Club of San Diego, a nonprofit volunteer organization, has moved to new and larger offices in the Sorrento Mesa area of San Diego from Mission Valley, where it had leased space since 1997. Tom Wilson, executive director, said the club was able to take advantage of market conditions and secure a five-year lease in larger, newer and more functional facilities for less cost than it had been paying previously. Eric Northbrook, executive director of Cushman Wakefield and a club member, represented the club in the negotiation and donated his commission back to the Century Club. The club raises more than $2 million a year for local causes from the annual PGA Tour event and other golfing-related charity activities. The club is currently in talks with several potential replacements for the previous tournament sponsor, Buick.
