Casa de Mañana residents say thank you to local firefighters, paramedics

[gallery]Residents of Casa de Mañana treated some of La Jolla’s firefighters and paramedics to lunch on Nov. 5 as a way of saying thank you.

The crews from Stations 9 and 13 “are the emergency personnel we count on everyday to be there for our residents and staff …They show up 24/7 when every minute counts,” wrote Catherine Sevier, a member of the La Jolla retirement community’s staff. “We wanted them to know how much we appreciate them.”
