Calligraphy workshop slated

The La Jolla Art Association is presenting a free Calligraphy Workshop for beginners at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 26.

The workshop will be taught by Sharon Ford, who has been involved with calligraphy for more than 30 years. Participants will learn a simple approach to the italic hand and a method to continue to learn different types of calligraphy on their own. Materials will be provided.
