Brain research focus of confab
Warren S. Brown, director of the Lee Edward Travis Research Institute at Fuller Theological Seminary and professor of the graduate school of psychology will be the featured speaker at La Jolla Presbyterian Church’s Second Annual Science & Faith Symposium on March 12-13 in Fellowship Hall of the Life Center, 7715 Draper, La Jolla.
Brown is also a member of the UCLA Brain Research Institute and author of “Whatever Happened to the Soul? Scientific and Theological Portraits of Human Nature,” and co-author of “Did My Neurons Make Me Do It? Philosophical and Neurobiological Perspectives on Moral Responsibility and Free Will.”
He will be joined by panelist Cindy Gustafson-Brown, faculty member of the UCSD Division of Biology 2, and others.
